Graphic Design Program
The Art Institute of Phoenix is the first step toward a career in graphic design. There are two options students can select in this program a two year Associate's Degree or four year Bachelor's Degree. Students develop skills in illustration, design, typography and painting, and also receive training in creative problem solving and learn how to offer successful solutions in the commercial graphics business.
This program emphasizes learning the techniques and skills of both traditional design, computer graphics, and production tools, including drawing instruments and the drawing board. Advanced training includes assignments encountered by professionals in the field. Students graduate with training and a professional portfolio that employers require for entry-level positions in visual communications.
