Diploma - Digital Design

Graduates of the Diploma in Digital Design program are prepared for entry level positions with digital service bureaus, printing companies, and in-house communication departments. During the program, students will study design elements, print production, basic web design, and computer illustration, in addition to other skills critical to success as a digital designer.
Diploma - Residential Planning
With courses taught by Interior Design faculty who are practicing professionals, the Diploma in Residential Planning program is a hands-on approach that is also offered online. With skills such as furniture placement, drafting, color selections, AutoCAD and residential planning at the heart of the program, graduates of this program are prepared to seek employment as a retail sales associate, kitchen and bath planner, or product purchaser.
Diploma - Web Design
Beginning with the basic skills of interactive design, the Diploma in Web Design program is designed to equip students with the skills needed in this booming industry. In addition to coursework in information architecture and interactive media, students also study motion scripting and interactive scripting language.
Associate of Science - Graphic Design
Focusing on hands-on experience, the Associate of Science in Graphic Design degree instructs students in the techniques of graphic design, computer graphics, illustration, computer graphics, and desktop publishing. A six, 11-week quarter program, this course of study will prepare students for entry-level positions in advertising and publishing, as an assistant designer, graphic designer, production artist or layout artist.
Bachelor of Science - Graphic Design
A 12, 11-week quarter program, the Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design establishes a strong foundation in computer skills and traditional design, while developing the skills of problem solving, in addition to the theories of graphic design.As part of this program, students will learn to design, produce and deliver effective and creative design concepts. From media design, marketing, 2-D and 3-D design, to computer illustration, image manipulation, web programming and page layout programs, students of this program will have the skills necessary to gain entry-level employment in the field of graphic design.
Associate of Science - Web Design & Interactive Media
Giving students a solid foundation of design skills, the Associate of Science in Web Design & Interactive Media program emphasizes interactive and PC screen design. Preparing students for positions such as a multimedia scriptwriter, web designer, web programmer, or multimedia production assistant, this program focuses on the tools needed to create interactive web content.
Bachelor of Science - Advertising
Bridging the gap between artists, advertising professionals and technologists, the Bachelor of Science in Advertising degree is a twelve, 11 week quarter program that will prepare students for positions in advertising, in addition to entry-level employment as a advertising artist, creative director, or account executive.
Beginning with the fundamentals of color and design, this program includes instruction on media skills, and culminates with the formation of an advertising campaign that includes various aspects of media, with the goal of moving an audience towards a desired action.
Bachelor of Science - Game Art & Design
Offering students the ability to create and design their own multimedia games, the Bachelor of Science in Game Art & Design program studies the fundamentals of computer animation, character building, and architecture. A 12, 11-week quarter program, this degree will prepare students for entry-level positions as level designers, modelers, character animators, and texture artists.
Bachelor of Science - Interior Design
The blending of artistic designs with practical sensibility, the Bachelor of Science in Interior Design program is a 12, 11-week quarter program that teaches the fundamentals of the exciting profession of Interior Design. Focusing the design process, students of this program will study the histories of modern art and design, master computer-aided drafting programs, and create effective design solutions by studying ergonomics, lighting, building codes, acoustics, and furniture design. Upon graduation, students are prepared to seek entry-level employment as residential planners, junior designers, and project managers in interior design.
Bachelor of Science - Media Arts & Animation
A 12, 11-week quarter program, the Bachelor of Science in Media Arts & Animation is a great launching pad for a career in computer animation. Mastering the skills of design, drawing, and image manipulation, students learn to create animation using different types of computer animation software.
Emphasizing project management and art direction, students will build 3-D models, in addition to editing and modifying video and composite 2-D and 3-D animation. Upon graduation, students are prepared to enter the workforce as 2-D and 3-D animators, broadcast graphic artists, and special effects animators, in addition to other arts and animation specialties.
Bachelor of Science in Web Design & Interactive Media
The Bachelor of Science in Web Design & Interactive Media degree program is a user-centered program which focuses on using creative and innovative technology solutions across a wide range of media platforms.
