Financial Aid

Without obligation, CollegeAmerica will provide you with a financial plan showing you available grants and loans. Financial Aid is available to those who qualify for these types of aid:

  • Pell Grant: This grant is determined by the Department of Education and is based on the student's financial need.
  • Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG): All students awarded a Pell Grant receive an SEOG Grant, as long as funds are available. The amount of the SEOG Grant is determined by the funding available to the college.
  • Subsidized Stafford Loan (Federal Student Loan): Payments for this loan begin 6 months after the student leaves college. Interest is paid by the government throughout the program and for a six-month grace period after leaving college.
  • Unsubsidized Stafford Loan (Federal Student Loan): Payments can begin 6 months after student leaves. Interest will accrue during the program and the six month grace period.
  • Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students (PLUS Loan): This is a federal loan program that allows parents to borrow low-interest loans for payment of student tuition.
